I just finished installing a CT-3300 for my girlfriend. The starter circuit works great. Everything as avertissed, except Im having trouble gettin the remote door locks to work. The lights flash accordingly when the lock/unlock buttons are pressed, but the door locks dont do anything? According to the ford diagram the door lock system only uses 1 wire? (GREEN/ blk) And the door trigger is the RED / white. I found both these wires. How do i hook them up to the - lock output, -unlock output and the -arm output?
Any help would be appreciated. If any one has problems with 87-93 mustangs i have extensive knowledge to share.

WELL 1st OFALL, I KNOW THAT ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL SAY THAT THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT WAY TO DO THIS, BUT DEPINDING ON WHAT KIND OF ALARM YOU USE, IT IS PRETTY SIMPLE TO DO.
IF YOU USE A VIPER, SIDEWINDER, PYTHON, ECT. ANY KIND OF D.E.I ALARM, OR ANY REVERSE POLERITY TRIGGER, BELIEVE IT OR NOT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT BOTH OF THE WIRES TOGETHER, YES PUT THEM TOGETHER. PUT THE LOCK, AND THE UNLOCK WIRE TOGETHER, ALONG WITH THE SINGLE BLK/GRN WIRE FROM THE CARS FACTORY LOCKS, AND THE ALARM WILL LOCK, AND UNLOCK THE DOORS.
THIS WILL NOT HARM YOUR. ALARM SYSTEM AT ALL, BUT IF YOU WANT TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE, OR MAKES YOU FEEL ANY BETTER, YOU CAN PUT A DIODE INBETWEEN THE LOCK/UNLOCK WIRE, AND THIS WILL STOP THE CURRENT FROM TRAVELLING BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE LOCK/UNLOCK WIRES.
TRUST ME, I AM A CERTIFIED VIPER INSTALLER..............
Use this diagram for the door lock system . Hey steriomar, the system camarokiller is installing is a Pro Start remote car starter with keyless entry

so i need to buy a relay. Do i just cut the GREEN/ blk probe single door wire? Im still abit confused as to say what side is the module or switch? Isnt there 2 switchs (each door)? I have a neg GREEN/ blk wire? and a trigger wire? Where do they come into play?
Ryan
Do i need th trigger wire? What the hell is that? Sterioumare says i can just put all the wires into one? I tried puttin both wires to GREEN/ blk and trigger to RED / white on car. NOthing. I checked the GREEN/ blk single door lock/unlock wire on the car is a negative polarity wire. Anyone know what to do?
isn't that lock system a negative trigger one wire with a resistor needed for either lock or unlock?
in other words, lock you can hook up direct to the wire(assuming your system has negative outputs for lock/unlock) and unlock needs a resistor inline to trigger. You should check to see if your system has just negative outputs or if it can do both positive and negative. because if it can do both you must use relays to make it a negative trigger to the lock wire. the trigger wire is to be hooked up to the door switch so that if someone opens the door when the alarm is armed, it will go off.
i just checked bulldog, it is a 1 wire positive pulse system that uses a 4.7k ohm resistor for unlock
thanks for explaining the trigger wire thing i totally understand that system now. Im going to read your response again. My system uses a neg signal to unlock/lock. Should i wire it according to the before posted relay diagram? That diagram doesnt have a resistor. Im going to look into this further. Anyone on here actually hooked up remote door locks to a ford probe?
Ryan
www.bulldogsecurity.com you can find the proper diagram for your locks if you look up the probe and ther is a link for the doorlocks
