I can't for the life of me find the tach wire on a 2004 tacoma.  The wiring diagram I have says it should be a light GREEN/ black wire at the data connected on the right hand side of the steering column.  I found a dark GREEN/ black wire at the diagnostic connector, but doesn't seem to be it.  There are also 3 light GREEN/ black wires at a much larger connector up under the dash.  None of these seem to be it either.  Does anyone know where the wire is and if the color in the diagram I have is correct?  Thanks, Joe

The tach wire should be LT green / black at the bach of the insturment cluster...
