Anyone have problems with this alarm??
Can anyone recommend the Echo pager to have added to the system?? Is the remote built well and small??

Thanks for any info, im new to this and am looking for some first hand experience with these alarm systems. Im moving to Alaska and dont want to be stranded in the cold.

i recently installed an omega max with the echo system in my 92 integra.
installation is straight forward and because of atv(automatic transmitter verification)omega is the only company to have this patent pending feature in every alarm they manufacture.if anyone tampers with your remotes or tries to program new remotes to your system, atv notifies thru horn/siren for the first 48 hours when ever the vehicle is started and the led also flashes corresponding to the no of remotes.
is not bad at all and it would be nice to buy the echo system because of the extended range antennae and the 2 way remote.
even if you dont get the echo, max still comes with 2 (1 way)remotes and their psyren as they call it sounds good too.
the only thing i dont like with the pager system is that if you used the other (1 way)remotes, the pager remote does not notify of anything unless if it was used last to arm.
go for it.

Since you must arm the car with the Echo remote in order for it to function/show details, I have a question. Can the echo max's transmitter be used for all functions instead of using the 1 way remote?
I am very seriously considering the echo max along with the omega max. I am 99 percent sure of getting these and removing what I got.

i have the max with the echo and like they said up above...its stright forward. i have had no problems with the unit....yes you can use the echo as the main transmitter....you will end up with three transmitters. two that come with the unit are not 2-way. if you use one of them to operate the unit, then the 2-way will not work as a pager. but you will still be able to disarm the unit. in order for the echo to work as a pager, the signal that the unit see's last must be from the echo....if you have any more questions, you can call me and i will give you more info on it...

David,
I am not yet sure if I have a transponder in my key. I have to first find that out. Also I sent you a link yesterday where it says you can bypass the transponder temporarily for remote-start. The site had info for Toyota and Lexus temporary bypass systems. Does anyone know how to tell if your key has a transponder or not without having to make another key?

If I do not have a transponder in my key then I will get what I told you, the omega max with echo max.
If I do have the transponder then I will also have to get the temprary bypass (without a key). Also do you know what is the comfort start? It is another remote. Does that come with the echo or is that a separate buy?

Let me know if you got the info I sent you in the email and my options if I purchase one or the other or both.
Thanks

im pretty sure you do have the transponder in the key. however you will not need an extra key. you can program the bypass and it will acts as a key for the remote start. when i get the rest of the info ill let you know...

thanks for the info. I am now getting the omega max alarm with the echo 2-way pager and some goodies like glass sensor, jack sensor etc. I hope it is as much a success as will be fun.
