I'm about to have an installer do a Python 881xp in my 2004 Honda Element w/auto trans. I would like to have the power door locks operate the way Honda keyless system does; one click drivers door unlocks, two clicks passenger door and rear hatch unlocks. My installer said he'll have to see if it can be done without going into the doors and runinng wires or an actuator. I'm not an installer myself but I would think that since the factory keyless system does this already, we can tap into it somewhere, probably under the dash or behind the kick panel.

How does the Honda Keyless system isolate the seperate power locks? Does it use seperate signals to the different locks or do they use a different method of isolation, such as voltage or polarity?

Does anyone know of any difficulties that my installer should be aware of before he does the remote Start feature?

The ones that I have done it looks like Civic wiring to me. He should have no problem doing it. You will probably be charged extra for the relay and labor.

The relays are for the motor wires in the driver door!!! They will have to be interface with the driver door motor wires for the first stage unlock then the second will unlock the rest with no additional parts! You are going to pay extra though tahts for sure labor ,parts!
