wanted to know do i have to have starter by pass moudel for my 1999 dodge dakota  or can i install my remote   start system  with out one thanks  THOMAS

I dont think that car has any transponder so u are good to go!!!! If the color of the key is grey it has transponder --if its black u are good to go (no transponder)
