I have a 92 Civic and Im trying to hook up the door triggers. I have searched and I cannot locate the diagram. Im assuming I have to change something because the doors are grounded the opposite of when the alarm needs them to be. Can someone show me a link to convert the ground triggers? Thanks!!!

I think the triggers show ground when the doors are closed and I need to switch this Im assuming. The alarm is sensing that the doors are still open right now.

It is a Light GREEN/ Red wire in the drivers kick panel. Should read (-)when door(s) is open.

Yeah thats what I hooked it to but I think that something is different. I think it reads (-) when the door is closed.

Then something must be wrong because I hooked the trigger up the the (-) on the alarm but it keeps saying my doors arent closed.

Being it is a 92 civic, maybe the pinswitches are in need of cleaning or replacement. All it takes is one to give a bad reading.

No I have the dome light disconnected. There were some problems with it when I first purchased the car. The switches are fine. I have already checked those. And its reading that the doors are open. I disconnected the trunk and hood pin connection and vice versa with the doors. It only reads open with the doors.

When I bought the car the dome light was out of it. So it has the wires to connect it but they just arent connected. I have checked the switches on open and close. They seem to register fine on the meter. As far as I know there is only one wire for each door. It grounds when the door is open or closed. I have a light in the dash that turns on and off when the accessory is turned on and a door is opened or closed and that seems to work fine. Any other possible ideas or the best way to start all over and check everything the correct and best way?

if the dome light dont work, your screwed--- youll have to run wires to each individual pin and isolate it. most likely, there is a short somewhere. by the way, the pin colors are GREEN/ blue coming from the pins. T

Ahhhh. So the dome light has to work in order for the door pins to work huh? That would be the problem then. I guess I will have tow work on something to that taken care of.

What about if I was just to cut the wires? That would isolate it and it would still read open or ground depending on the the door being open or not. I dont think I need the door sensors for anything else.
