I can't get the remote start to work with the clifford 700IQ when it is armed. It will start with the alarm turned off just fine. The remote start has a 18 guage brown / white wire which hooks to the IQ700 to a BROWN / white wire . This wire is called a alarm ignition sense wire. I think this is where the trouble is. I am installing this in a 1987 chevrolet full size truck. Any one seen this ?

Thanks,

Scott

Hey Scott,

I have done this on several alarms as well by mistake, but it sounds like your starter wire for the remote start is on the incorrect side of the OEM starter wire.  Try switching the sides and re-test.
