check dealer scematics to see if the vehicle in question has a neautral safety switch. that may be accesable at the ecu and trans. some cars have theese others do not. sometimes there rigth in the diagnostics port of the car. And use the E brake wire.

That's good to know Dreadlock.

Also check into an item made by Peripheral called an NSS or "Neutral Safety Switch".  The remote start you install will have to have the "stop and go" feature for this to work though.  But what it does is monitor the doors.  You open a door, it won't start.  You will find it at the bottom of the page of this link: https://peripheralelectronics.com/2002/security_bypasses.asp

Not if hooked up correct. When you hook it up make sure you get all ignition wires(ie first ignition, second ignition, etc)!!! Also I would recomend usng a tach reference for the remote starter not voltage sensing.

If done correct this unit will last you years without worries and your car wont chabge a bit!posted_image

If you are gong to install your self post back with any questions you may have. Good luck

reed switch only works on certain cars...some cars there is too much room between amounting point and the switch etc...

check out this post....

I had an idea for this,...kinda like the stop and go idea....

elaborate more on this stop and go feature, and how the doors have anything to do with it.
