I have a pro start remote car starter, model CT-3300, that i have started to put in. I have the two main harnesses wired in but do not know how far I need to go to make it work properly. I installed the 6-pin main ign harness and the 5-pin secondary harness. The problem I run in to is the 12-pin acc. harness. Do  need to find and connect all the wires, ie. (-) trunk output, (-) lock output, (-) disarm output, (-) parking light output, (-)ground out when running, and hook them up for  the  remote starter to work? Or do I only have to hook those wires up if I want to use the unlock doors etc. Please help!!

You've got a system that allows all those features, so might as well hook them up. I assume you've got everything apart, makes sense to hook up the whole system properly.

If you are not going to use any of these features on the last harness, you do not need to hook up anything and you do not need to have the harness hooked up to the CPU for it to work. You should be ready to program the remotes and the tach signal.

The only wires you need to be concerned with are the ones you have hooked up already. If you wish to hook up the door locks and rear glass release (if your suburban has dutch doors and rear glass) you can. You will require relays to hook up to the factory wiring. The CT 3300 only puts out negative pulses I think. The truck uses positive trigger door locks. The door lock relay is above the gas pedal. Light blue is lock and white is unlock.   Don't worry about all the other wires in the plug. Simply tape them up so they do not short out. If you have the rear glass option the black wire at the switch in the dash requires a positive pulse through a relay to activate it. Test the wire first as the lamp in the switch uses a black wire for ground.

If i wish to continue with the installation and hook up the door unlock how do I do that with relays. also what about the (-) park light output, does that lead need to be connected?

POWER LOCK|lt. blue            |+  |either door boot
POWER UNLOCK|white               |+  |either door boot

Use the above wire for locking and unlocking and if the ProStart doesn't have alternate polarity door locks then use this diagram to convert the (-) to a (+)

The parking light wire in your truck is a positive circuit. Use the positive parking light output of the remote starter ( I think it's yellow 18 gauge) and connect it to the dark brown wire at the headlight switch. You don't need to connect the negative parking light output to anything. It is only there for different vehicle applications.
