Is it necessary to install a GM keyless entry bypass module to install a remote start/alarm system in a 2000 Chevy Z71? I have heard that there are ways around it but im not sure

If I understood correctly you're asking about keyless entry. If so, then no you don't need any special module because doorlocks are done at the BCM.

Locks are + trigger. Does your aftermarket keyless have + outputs ? if not you'll need relays and the + D.L. diagram found else where on this site.

What about the Passlock and anti theft system for the remote start because i know that if it is not done right the truck computer will think its getting stolen and will shut down the fuel system
