Key Fob interchanable?

I have a Viper EZSDEI485 4 button, RED L.E.D. key fob.

Will a EZSDEI485 2 button, RED L.E.D. key fob do the same job.

The the owners manual shows the 4 button remote but only button 1 & 2 are shown being used

for all functions.

I found out that this Viper unit is the HF series and must use key fobs with HF capability.

485M (new shape) or the 485T which was supplied with the unit.
