DOES ANYONE KNOW THE LOCATION AND COLOR OF TACH WIRE ON 1998 TOYOTA 4-RUNNER V6? I FOUND A WIRE THAT REGISTERS 2 VOLTS ONLY WHEN VEHICLE IS RUNNING DOWN BY THE PASSENGER KICK PANEL OFF THE ABS PLUG.

There will be a diagnostics plug in the driver side of the engine on the top between the hood hinge and the lights. Flick the cover up and there will be a female connector end there that you can connect to.
