ok, so the viper 591 has wires for door trigger, but are the wires just there for the heck of it or they work for door trigger? in the manual say it has no function, but there are wires for those pins so i thought i ask.

DEI uses the same harness for many of their units for easy upgrade.  For example you have the 591xv and you want to go to the 791xv.  They use the same harness so it would just be a mather of pluging in the new one and wireing up the door trigers and siren.

On the remote starts from DEI the purple and green wires on the main harness serve no purpose.

for remote start on 791xv, the purple is for starter wire and the green wire is for starter kill/antigrind.

Yea I'm not sure why DEI does that. That can confuse some people.
