I'm installing a rattler 369d in my 97 crown vic.

It doesn't mention if it comes with an anti grind circuit or not?  If not, how difficult is it to wire one in?  Could someone post a diagram for me?

I looked at the manual.  I didn't see any.  Did you wire in the unit already?   Did you try remote starting it, and then with your key turn it to the start position?  "anti-grind" is so when the car is on, you won't be able to engage the starter.

Here is the link to "Relays: Starter Interupts"  It's like making the DEI 8618 started kill relay that came with my RS3-Normally Closed Starter Kill Relay.

no, i haven't wired it in yet.  in fact i just bought it and it should arrive on tuesday.  i went to the directed website and read the manual/install guide and didn't see it mentioned either.  that's why i was curious.

i just wanted to make sure it would kill the starter if it's already been started and someone sticks the key in and tries to crank it.

i'll first install it and then see if it does automatically kill the starter or not.  thanks for the link, that will help if i need to install one.
