I've read the installation manual and the owners manual. This looks like a real good unit. I was wondering if it would have everything I need to install it in my 98 Dakota. Are there any other relays etc... that I would have to purchase? I also found it cheap on ebay for a refurbished model. Here's the link.

Does it look like a good deal? Any recemmendations? Thanks.

I would say no to this.

I would search the internet and buy the new 791xv.

The 791 has the new relay pack and the new type remote.

I think the new relay pack is worth it.

I have heard that the old white remotes break big time.

If you really want the 790 I saw it brand new for 190 -200 range on the internet.

I have this unit installed. It works well but I've had some issues with the remote and had to swap it out. Also when I wanted a spare it cost over 85 dollars. The newer units 791XV have some improvements and a 1-way spare remote. Crimestopper also makes a decent system of comparable price that includes a second remote. This one I found on Ebay is a little less expensive and Brand new. Let us know what you end up with and if you need help installing.https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&item=3078590409&category=48611#ebayphotohosting

So the Crimestopper CS2015FM looks like a good system too. Will I need any extra relays, etc... to do a full install on my 98 Dakota? I was reading something about it in the manual under power locks, but I could be wrong. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
