Cut one of the 2 door lock wires...if you lose both functions you have a reverse polarity system and need relays or a DRL module...if you cut one wire and you only lose that one feature then its a wire tie in assuming the unit you're installing has dual polarity DRL outputs.
Its just a Sport. And now the problem i am having is that when i cut the wire lets say to the lock when i go to the passenger door i can lock the doors but i cant unlock. And Vice Versa. But my driver side door doesnt work at all. now when i hook up my relays i hook up pin 87 and 86 to 12v then i hook pin 85 to the module's output. NOw when i hook up the lock side to the 87a middle pin i blow a fuse. if i hook up just the motor leg to pin 30 then when i press lock then it locks the doors but i still have no control from the driver side door. If i hook up.both ends to pin 30 then when i lock the doors it locks but blows a fuse. What am i doing wrong?
