door locks unlocks problem

Hi all

i installd remot starter  autostart  model 1414 its working fine.

but i have problem with the door lock  unlock.  the starter has  negative      _        output  i conect every thing ok  but still dosnt  work

the parking lights flashing when i push lock  unlock bottoms but dosnt lock or unlock  the doors .

any help pleas   thanks

the parking lights will flash even if you don't have the door lock/unlock wires hooked (correctly/or at all) up as long as you have the parking light correct.

the lights will flash regardless of whether you hook up the door locks or not..thats normal... again if you need help with the keyless feature we need to know what type of vehicle its in...we're not psychic

Your door locks are positive pulse not negative pulse, so if you did it negative that is why it don't work!!

ORANGE / white is lock and pink/purple is unlock (the wires are located in a white plug back of fuse poanel

Iknow the car has positive puls but i am talking about the remot starter has negative output

so use 2 relays convert the nagative to positive !! the info is on the relay section of this site.

I did that  i used  2 relay but didnt work  i tried to chek any puls from the remt unit  when i push lock unlock bottoms no any voltage . i mean lock unlock wires . no any voltage on these wires . i used the diagram in this sit but didnt work.

your ground on the unit may be bad try a different grounding point on the alarm, if not maybe the unit has a blown output for the door locks!

test the outputs from the 1414, they are a transistor output and not very forgiving if you hook them up wrong...you may have blown the DRL outputs on the unit itself
