I have the Lynx 2000R installed into my 97 Eclipse GST and everything is working fine... except for one thing.
When I remote start it, the orange IG2 correctly powers the IG2 circuit and the heater runs fine. But when I have it in turbo timer mode (run for 5 minutes after key is taken out), that wire no longer gets voltage. Big problem... eventually the car overheated and coolant spewed out. Does anyone know if this is by design or does the brain have a problem?
If this is by design (why?), how could I power IG2 when the key is out and the car is running?

The turbo timer function is basically the same as the remote start function but is timed different. If the IGN # 2 wire does not have (-) signal on it for the relay to engage after turbo mode is engaged, then there is a problem with the unit. One thing to check though it to make sure that the relay is good and receiving a (-) signal from the 2nd IGN output of the alarm and also that the relay is working properly under remoet start and turbo mode.

I'm now a little confused. I was supposed to use a relay? The orange wire (from the 6-pin main harness of the ignition wires) is a (+) output. It says in the manual:
The (+) output is used to start the supplementary devices such as heater and air conditioner which are not related to the engine. Find the wire that becomes (+)12V when the key is in the 'ON' position or when the engine is started. The output keeps 1~3V while the start motor turns.
The wire I connected the output does go to (+)12V when in the 'ON' position. It does power the IG2 under remote start, just not under turbo timer mode. It just seems odd that the same wire works in one instance and not the other. This due to design or error?
