Does anyone know if there's already a factory installed pin switch for the trunk or do i have to install my own?

You are going to have to install one on there....you can just use the trunk pin switch.

Can you not use the trunk light as your trigger ?

I just went ahead and installed a mercury switch on the trunk lid.
