 Hi,

I have seen that a lot of Toyota will required to unlock the doors,  a conection from the unlock wire of  the alarm to the child safety lock wire in the car.  Any logical explanation to this?

 Thanks,

yes, toyota vehicles that have this system and when activated(by driver door with key in barrel or if door lock switch is used to lock door)prevents door lock switches from operating door lock system.the door lock module monitors the child safety wire and when door is unlocked by the ign key in driver door,a ground signal is sent to child safety wire which then activates normal operation.
