It's installed in a 1997 Cavalier that I just bought. The start function works, but does not dis-engage the starter right away. I believe I have to reset the tach settings?
Also, the car is equipped with keyless entry. I would like to wire the 1003 to lock\unlock doors and open the trunk.
If anyone has the user manual and Install guide for this unit it would be a great help to me.
Thanks
Matchless

Sounds like you have a problem in your wiring or that vehicle has to be bypassed. Check your wiring if that is all okay...use that DEI bypass module for this vehicle...good luck.
