I got 02 Camry LE with the oem remote keyless entry which i would like to keep the remote, don't know why.

Any way, i would like to install the alarm system. Now, i have a choice.

Either rs3200+ which will be plug and play but cost Can$280.00 from the dealership or.

Hornet 700t cost Can$100.00 which i will have to make all the connections.

I am not sure which one to get regarding functionality and reliability.

Please help me to make the decision. Thanks.

Scott35, I have no luck to find one with that price.

Do you happen to have any link to rs3200+ on the e-bay with that price.

Also, i have never shop on e-bay. So, i am skeptical about it.

Thank.

You are right, The one I found on there was $190. I have been dealing on ebay both buying and selling for several years, Just check out their feedback rating to see what kind of seller they are.

Majorities of e-bay transactions are $U.S.

When convert to $Can. They are about the same as dealer price here in Ontario.

If the price is about the same. Then, i would prefer to shop at the local dealer to prevent all the hassel of shipping, warranty...

Wow, I checked the price here a couple months ago, was $284.00Can.

Will call the dealership to check the price again.

Scott 35 or anyone, What do you think? should i go with the rs3200+ or with the Hornet 700t?

Appreciate for your advise or opinion.

Thanks.

well the Hornet is a good little unit and only takes about an hour to install, it's your call

personally, i'd deal with the brand that gives you some kind of tech support should you need it
