Has anyone did a remote start on one of these cars before? Anything I should be warned about? Got one coming in at 12..any advice would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly the ignition wires are a complete pain in the arse to get at. They have very little slack on it and the wires wrap over the steering column and then go into the dash area through the firewall. They don't really go down the steering column and into a fuse box like most other vehicles.

What about if I took off the steering column apart..would it still be hard to get to? That car should be here around 2:30...I looked at some tech sheets and I have yet to see a door trigger wire...can I just use a dome light or something?

DOOR TRIGGER-----------lt. blue            |-  | anti-theft module located above the gas pedal to the right of the steering column.

The wires are looped over the steering column halfway into the steer tube. No use removing the steering column shroud.

This car was terrible...I got all the way to the end..and found out the alarm didn't work. The keypads didn't work for the alarm and the instructions didn't tell me how to program the key pads like the DEI stuff does. And I looked behind the glove box and found a DEI 712T behind there. I'm not sure what it does but it's something to do with the locks, and unlock. I cut the wire for the lock and unlock and the pass. doors wouldn't lock and unlock. There was just no room to get to it on the driver side. I made all of my main connections...except for the locks and stuff...Does anyone know the solution to this problem? Any tips or ideas?
