Anybody ever hear of aftermarket speed sensitive locks? This would be along the lines of when you reach speed X the doors are locked (once, then the the system is reset when the doors are unlocked.)

i dont recall any aftermarket company having this, but if they do it would probably be one of the big name companies.

there's actually one that Clifford ( now owned by DEI) makes but it has to be integrated with a remote stater module as well. Since it has to sense the RPMs on the engine. I don't know if you wanna go through the trouble of installing a remote starter in your  car, just to have the doors lock when your car is going at a certain speed.

You are correct, I would not bother installing an RS just for speed sensitive locks. (It's a manual tranny, so I would not install an RS anyway - I always leave it in gear.)

I'll check with DEI though. Can't hurt to ask.
