I need help... I've completed installation of a mannix remote / start alarm combo, on a 1998 chevy tahoe. The problem that I believe I'm having is with my passlock system. I've been through about 3 or 4 DEI 555L's, and countless hours, and can't quite get it right. The remote start worked Twice, and now nothing?  The alarm dose its part and tries to start, and even works in turbo, but passlock wont let it remote start. Any 1have any suggestions?

Assuming you have the RIGHT PASS 2 wires *(thin yellow) *(thin ORANGE / black)
And you have cut the yellow wire in half....attaching Yellow wire from 555L to yellow half that goes to Ignition switch......attaching BLACK / YELLOW to other half
And attaching Black wire from 555L to ORANGE / black
Red to + 12Volt Constant
Pink to Ignition 1 +
Make sure you have voltage upon Remote Start at Pink and Red

OR

I would try puting key in ignition and turn to ON and try Remote Start
If it starts Double check your wiring again

Try a different module for bypass. I would use PLDATA for this vehicle.

It's the bypass module & make sure that it is receiving a ground signal when remote starting. Test the ground out when running wire from the remote starter to ensure a proper (-) ground. Test the ground on the remote starter as well as this will affect the (-) output for this wire.
