Can anyone help me in the steps required to install a 555 bypass module for a 2002 Cavalier. I have basic knowledge of installs (more car audio than security) but I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. the instructions are not a lot of help. I do have a RS that does work, but the anti-theft kicks in and shuts the car down. Please be as specific as possible if you can. I found the Yellow resistance wire (that one I know is right) but I am having difficulty finding the right black wire....

ok lets see,
cut the yellow wire in half and hook up the yellow wire form the bypass unit to the ignition side of the cars passlock wire and the BLACK / YELLOW to the ground side of the cars passlock wire. the black wire goes to the BLACK/ orange that is under the dash, just tap it in, do not cut this one, and finally, the pink wire goes to ignition. that should do it.

one more thing. take the lack wire and hook it up to the third ignition in your alarm, and the red to constant 12v.
