I jsut installed (well in the middle of) an alarm for my Runner and the alarm is installed and works fine. I am trying to wire the rear window so that I can use the remote from the security system to move the window. The security system I have as 3 extra channels, 2 are pusled and the other one is a constant( runs as long as I have the button down). I have a DEI 530T window module to control the window but After wiring it I have not been able to get the module to effictly move the window via the remote nor the in cabin switch (is moves in incraments and not consistantly. I am not going in to how I have it wired as I know that it is sorta right, but mostly wrong ( I know the gorund leads, power lead, and option lead works...that is all I am sure of at this point)

Can anyone give me some pointers or better yet what wires I need to use and where I can find them... I really need to get my Runner back together soon.

Parts I have... Prestige APS-410S Alarm system... DEI 530T Window module.. Power everything on a 94 runner...

You need to make sure that you have a very good ground for the 530T. Also in the install manual there will be a description on how to adjust the resistance of the unit. There should be some dip switches on the side of the module. Adjust these and you should be working fine.

I am sure my grounding is fine.. but never hurts to check so I'll re check to make sure.... moved the switches and tried all the different settings and nothing worked... I think I am not tapping the correct wires (near the interiror switch.. and I am also having trubble with the relay that I set up to turn the power on on the acc circuit when the remote is used to move the window... I am geting the output from the realay but not sure which of the 2 ingnition wires or both I need to send the power too... I need to recheck all my connections.. but any other suggestions.. or anyone have any experence working with a 4runner's rear window
