I recently purchased a ETON AE896 Alarm/Keyless ENtry/Remote Start and am trying to wire it up. I am stuck on the keyless entry part of the install. The alarm has a 6pin/wire harness for the keyless/powerlocks.
Pins:
Grey
Brown
Blue
Green
Yellow
Yellow Black
Now, on the instructions, when connecting to a central lock for 5 wire motor, the grey and brown are unused, the blue is connected to the Down, the Green is connected to the up and the yellow and black are spliced together to connect to a common line.
FOr a 2 wire motor, the grey and brown are spliced together and connected to ground, the blue and green are connected to the powerlock motor and the yellow and yellow/blk are going to a 12V constant.
I am totally confused what way to go. It is going on a 99 Civic 4DR. I tried both methods and neither worked.
Any ideas?

First it depends what type of doorlock system you have. The diagram I pasted says its a negative pulse system. I dont understand what you mean under the 5 wire where you say the blue is connected to the Down, the Green is connected to the up but since you dont have that system Im just going to ignore that. If what you say is correct about the instructions then you should use the 2 wire setup and the blue and green should take care of the lock and unlock. You will need a negative signal so make sure thats what you have. Check with your meter on these wires when you operate the eton lock and unlock function. When you hit the lock and the blue or green gives a ground signal then you know that is the lock wire and vice versa. Also check your instructions to see if it has onboard relays or not. Good luck and post back to let us know how you come out or if you have more questions.
