Hello all I figured out why I was blowing fuses. I did a bench test with the relays. I put 12+ to 85 and 30 then I did a continuity test, 87a and 30 had continuity but 30 and 87 did not (normal) however when I applied a ground to 86 (coil) I then had continuity between 30,87 AND 87a. 87a being the terminal for the switch which is a rest at ground. so I was putting 12+ to a direct ground (no wonder I was blowing a 20 amp fuse). My question is what is the tecnical term the correct relays???

It's called a SPDT relay ( Single Pole Double Throw ) these are the 5 pin 30/40 amp automotive relays.
