I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX sedan.

I found a wiring diagram for the power door locks, and it seems to show that the lock switches all feed into a control unit in the driver's door. It looks like the switches provide a (-) input to BLK/WHT wires on lock, and (-) input to ORG wire on unlock. Additionally, it looks like there may even be a plug intended for honda's optional anti-theft system to connect to the control unit.

My alarm system is a DEI that provides alternating -/+ to green and blue wires. It's only supposed to drive relays, not the actuators. I wasn't sure about how it was designed, so I ordered relays and sockets and built a controller, but now I'm thinking I don't even need it.

Could someone with experience let me know if I really need the relays, or if I can tap directly into the switch wires or anti-theft leads? Are those leads low current enough?

You shouldnt need relays.

those wires you are going to tap on to, are the OEM relay triggers.

Thanks! Now, if you could tell me where to physically find the door trigger master wire for my car, I'll be done. According to the wiring diagram, the car already has a bank of diodes set up and a lead for the optional alarm system... Would that also be found near the fusebox?

sorry - not the power lock triggers, you did tell me that (thank you Jeff) - I meant the door pin switches that trigger the dome light. All four door pin switches pass through a set of diodes, and then there is a lead that goes off to the optional anti-theft system... When installing my alarm last weekend, I couldn't find that wire. It's supposed to be a BLK./WHT wire, although I suspect it will have silver dots on it also(according to the diagrams on this site)

There should be a gray plug to the right of the steering column that will have this BLACK/ WHITE wire that you are looking for.
