Hi,

Hello guys, I just acquired a 1998 Dodge Durango SLT 5.2L and Im about to install a 2 way LCD Alarm/ Remote/ Keyless entry system.... according to the info I've gather so far it says the power locks are reverse polarity and so far I have only mess with negative power locks in other applications wich as you all know you just connect the wire to the system and go..... now this one is kind of diferent and Im going to need as much help as possible, has anyone done this before.... keylesssin durango.... please help!

Power Lock ORANGE / purple    +   blue plug in driver kick

Power Unlock pink/purple    +   blue plug in driver kick

Thanks for the reply, yes I 've seen the color codes for the lock/ unlock wires, now my question is do I need any special relays, resistors or any fancy weird thingy to make it work..... Thanks

no its just + pulse  no resistor needed

Wire in two relays to convert the (-) signal from the unit to a (+) using this diagram.

well,

last week I got to it and my system came with relays built in to them for this purpose so I wire them and gave them 12 volts and it worked,,, with no problems what so ever. I did noticed that it was drawing a lot of amps and that the voltage needed to be strong but other than that it hasnt giving me any troubles.. knock on wood like they said...... thanks to all of you that helped me get thru,,, let me know if can be of any assistance..
