The car is a 99 Cobra with a Prestige APS-995A CITY TUFF alarm system with remote start.  When started with the remote starter, the car shuts off as soon as the RPM's drop below 800.  The car idles at 700.

You might have to teach the alarm. I know on the Viper systems you can do this. Or try the voltage sense setting if applicable.  Check your tach wire and make sure that it is connected properly and correct. Check your LED and it should tell you by the amount of blinks what may have caused it to shut down. Refer to your manual under troubleshooting. Hope this helps a little.

I'm actually posting this for a friend, I didn't install the alarm, and I'm not familiar with it.  I'll relay the info, and let you know what happens...any other thoughts would be appreciated.  Thank you.
