Does anyone know how to increase the range of a 2way pager/remote? Is it possible to build something like a repeater for CB radios, where you keep this "repeater" in your house or somewhere near the vehicle's range, then you can have that repeater send signals to as far as a mile or more? I know of some new alarm/remote-starts that have a range of 1.5 mile range.

i WOuld suggest to move the antenna around to get the best signal. Also there may be fome radio freq interfering with your 2 way try and shut down the radio before you exit the car.

I last reply is right on point. Certainly double check the position of your antenna. In addition, if you happen to live near a military base or large telecommunication sites/stations, this could cause a problem as well ------------- Trav

In am having no problem. My remotes are working to the maximum range they are designed for. All I was asking was if there was a way to extend their range to maybe 10 times what they are designed for by a repeater for example, like they use for CB radios. Please read my question again, you'll see what I mean.

open remote and adjust pods with plastic remote adj tool-if pods are avail-turn very liitle and test--before you move them at all drip nailpolish on them and let dry-this will allow you to at least get back to where you were--move a very little and test--
