I just had a frend install the 791 viper w/ remode start.Now when the eng. runs,the security light stays on.I read the owner manual & it said that the passlock anti theft hadbeen bypassed.I dont know if he did use bypass unit (or did he use some other way)( he out of town,can 'task him)

Any info how to eleminate it w'd be very appreciated.thanks

Unless you know what you look for this may be difficult to explain. I'm not certain how comfortable you feel taking you dash apart and looking at what your installer did. It may be in your best interest to wait until he returns if you don't feel comfortable or have any experience in this area.
