where is the best location to place my radar sensor on my highlander and yet be unobtrusive/invisible to passengers or pedestrians? any owners or technicians who worked on highlander out there know the answer? if you do, thanks in advance.

Update:
Please note I am not asking about a police radar sensor! I am asking about a radar sensor in my car for intruder detection (somewhat like a motion detector).

It is not worth installing this type of sensor on your vehicle. They will false more then anything and not worth installing on anything other then a convertible or a jeep. But if you still want to install it try to go as close to the center of the vehicle as possible. I would probably go under the center console.

put it up in the center of the headliner, easy to wire up the a pillar and drop headliner a few inches, use hot glue or velcro, great position to avoid falsing.

What is a headliner? Is it the surface under the roof?

How about a perimeter sensor then? How do they work? Can I put that safely? I heard of rain setting them off etc. Ahh. I am tired now.
