I've installed a Clifford 400 in my car.  Everything has gone well and the alarm functioning as it should.  I am stuck however on the power door locks.

The car is an Mazda MX3 and I had to install one actuator in the driver's door.  A switch in the dirver lock controls the lock actuator in the passenger side.  So when the drivers door is unlocked/lock the passenger does the same.

I am confused where to hook up the two wire actuator from the driver's door.  Can someone explain the following connections:

Door Lock Common

Door unlock normally open

Door lock normally open

Door lock normally closed

Door unlock narmally closed

Thanks, Mike

are you using the 451M door lock relays pack?  take the blue black wire to the blue wire on the actuator and the green black to the green wire.  then ground white black and brown black and take purple and purple black to ground.

I was not using any relays.  The documentation for the Clifford 400 states it has:

"Remote door locking/unlocking with Built-in Relays"

There are 6 connection out of the harness for door locking/unlocking.  The install manual says to see the Door lock/Unlock sectio of the binder.

Needless to say, I have the install docs from the Cifford website, not the door lock info.

You are correct, the relay is built into the unit.

This should help you.  Open this link and go to page # 2

Use diagram #3

Good Luck!
