Need remote for hornet 700T

Friend took her car in for a recall on her ignition, got a call from tech telling her he needed the other remote. She told him he had the only one she got with the car purchased used in 2000, 98 Cavalier. He said when he hooked the battery up the car locked and her remote would not work that there was an aftermarket alarm system in it. Finally he unplugged the remote and got her car back to her. The little black box is a Hornet 700 T, how would one find a remote for this system, we have no idea where purchased and all the online sites I have located are of no help.....any Idea who retailed these, like radio shack, or Pep Boys, Auto Zone????:D

OK, I meant he unplugged the control box, I don't really know much about these things. Yea I know you got it anyway, but what can I say!

the hornet 700T didnt come with a remote, it uses the factory keyless remote.
