Can anyone provide some direction to hookup power door locks to a Clifford 400.

I have installed a two wire actuator in the driver's door.  How does the six wire from the harness go?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

are you using the 451m module from DEI? if so it should have a digram on the backside of the relay.

I dont have the diagram right know,

but I think almost all DEI have these 6 colors:

GREEN/ black :   connect to green wire of actuator

Blue/black :   connect to blue wire of actuator

WHITE/ black :   connect to ground

BROWN / black :   connect to ground

Violet/black en Violet :  connect to 12 volt (+) and use a fuse.   The fuse must be rated at 7.5 AMP per actuator.   So if u use 2 actuators then 15 AMP fuse.

Greetings

Let's try that again.  Is the FACTORY LOCK MODULE built into the alarm itself?

The relay is built into the brain.  Looking at the 6-wire bunch, take the RED / green & RED / orange wires, twist them together, connect an inline fuse holder with a 20A fuse and attach to positive battery post.  Now take the gray/orange & gray/green wires and twist them together and connect them to ground.  The WHITE/ green controls locking & WHITE/ orange controls unlocking or vice-versa, you can connect a multi-meter and see which wire pulses when you arm the alarm, that would be your locking lead.

I didn't know what you meant at first regarding the FACTORY LOCK MODULE.  That does not pertain to your install.  Look again on page #2 from that link and the wire diagram labeled Diagram #4 is the one you will need to pay attention to.

I tried diagram #3 but it didn't work.  Then I went to #4 as I had installed one of the actuators myself.  Works like a charm.  The lock/unlock mechanism seems to pulse three time on the unlock, and my Wizard software is not the PRO version ( I don;t think anyways) as I cannot access the installer programmable features with it.

But the locks do lock and unlock which is a good thing.

Thanks for the advice,

Mike
