I want to have the ability for my radio to stay on after I turn off the car (with the key).  Right now, the only time the radio comes on/off is when i start/stop the vehicle with the key.  I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota Club Cab with Viper 791XV (irrelevant though).

Any suggestions?

do you want it to stay on for a specific time period or just be on with the key out?

I want it to stay on until i open the door.  I first searched, found nothing, then browsed, found nothing again, so I posted.  After posting, I forgot, while searching, to change it to "Message Body".  So, I found a few prior post, and then found the diagram on here.

That seems like it would work, so I am going to try that.  I will post if I have any issues.

A side issue, are all SPDT relays so big?  I have limited room behind my radio to fit anything else.

Thanks

Compustar makes one for a manual trans. I have one and am in the process of installing it. It wont start if in gear or anything.
