I have an Autopage 850lcd and a DEI 830T window module installed on my 2003 Silverado. Everything works great, but to get the windows to roll down 2 inches i have to hold the auxillary ( trunk ) button for 3 seconds. I want to be able to just push the trunk button once and have the windows crack, then hold the trunk button for a 3 seconds ( like it says in the DEI manual) and have the windows roll all the way down. I had this installed at a alarm shop about 2 hours away from where i live (its the closest one). Id rather fix this myself though . Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Brad

If Im not mistaken you have to change the programming for that channel. Im in the middle of installing the same system as well as the 530 module.

"This will become a 1 second pulse ground by activate channel 2 on transmitter for two
seconds, the current capacity of this wire is 200 mA. This feature allows you to remote control
trunk release or other electric device. This output can also be programmed to provide the
followina tvDe of outDut: momentary, latched, latched-reset with iqnition, 30-second timed."

I think he meant the 530T by DEI - window module.

Yeah Im sorry i meant the 530t.  i am having another problem also. sometimes my windows just roll up on their own. like i will be driving down the road and they will just roll up. and when they are up i hear the power window switches clicking like they are trying to roll up. I know that rolling the windows up is controlled by the "ground when armed" output on the alarm system. so it kinda sounds to me like the wire is grounding out.

Thanks Brad
