Ok, the 2002 Denali has this:

Ignition #1: PINK (# AWG) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition #2: WHITE (# AWG) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS(ECM)

And the Matrix RS3.5 has two ignition outputs (pink and pink/white).

Why wouldn't you connect both?

Pink -> pink in car
Pink/white -> white in car
Problem solved

If the pink ignition wire on the 3.5 doesn't see ignition you won't get into programming, your starter kill won't work, you can't learn tach, you can't put it into valet using the valet button, and more. Hook it up.

you have to power it up if its there.  thats probably going to fix a few problems.  ususally 2nd and 3rd ignitions power up different computers in the car.  if the wiring lists a connection to make, you have to make it.  this is the thing that pisses me off at my shop, if the wiring lists a factory disarm wire, you have to use it.  customers complain that the horn starts honking when they remote start or unlock the doors, ect...   take it back to the installers.

you've received the info you need many times already... the pink from the starter goes to pink in the ign  harness, the pink/white from the RS goes to the white wire in the ign harness, orange goes to accessory.

you do NOT hook up the pink and the pink/white to the same wire......
