2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Alarm Information

i still am not able to get the car to start i tried just about every place a resitor would be needed but it powered up but no starter?

do i need to get a dei piece for this car?

Tach Signal WHITE AT IGNITION CONTROL MODULE * #238
Ignition #2 DARK GREEN IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition #3 ORANGE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS (HVAC)
Accessory BROWN IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Neutral Safety NOT GROUNDING TYPE - OEM SWITCH OPENS STARTER CIRCUIT
Brake Light WHITE (+) AT SWITCH ABOVE BRAKE PEDAL
Reverse Light L GREEN (+) AT LIGHTS
Rear Window Defrost N/A TIMER BUILT INTO SWITCH


* Ignition Control Module Is Located On Top Of Engine. #238 - See GM PassLock II Diagram Note : The Engine Will Not Turn Over Until The PassLock Is Connected

youll need a 555L, and there are 2 accy and 2 igns.  to keep the check engine light from coming on during remote start, you have to cut the parking light wire from the BCM, and put a diode with the stripe towards the BCM and, the factory and RS parking light wire connected to the non striped side.  also, you have to use (-) parking light.
