Viper 792 in 2003 Hummer H2

1. I can't find any toggle switch. Everything I have read said there should be a toggle switch to disable remote start. Is it just me or should this switch be somewhere under my dash?

i have same alarm and i dont think it comes with a switch to disable remote start.

2. I could have sworn the installer told me that when I arm the system it would roll the windows up automatically. I don't necessarilly need the ability to roll them up and doen at will form the remote, but I would like them to roll up so the car is secure. Should this work? If not than what would I need to get this functionality?

think you need another module for this to work and would be extra.

3. The rear hatch of the Hummer. I can't find a pin switch? there is no way to open the trunk from inside the truck and there is no key unlock for the hatch. so I have no way to test what would happen if the rear hatch got oppened? how would the alarm know to trigger without a pin switch?

well if there is no way to open the hatch you should be fine, they would have to smash the glass to get in. plus i think it has current sensing if the hatch is opend and it turns on a light it will set it off.

1. The toggle switch will be hidden from view to avoid possible alarm valet mode turn on. You will have to ask where the installer hid the toggle switch.

2. The window roll up feature will be either a module they installed for you ( where you would have had to pay extra for ) or it would have been part of the door lock interface module that you had for bypassing the OEM security and door lock system on the Hummer. If the window option doesn't work with the interface module alone, then you will need to use window module to control them when armed because I've heard that there were some databus issues with some of the GM vehicles where they would not always roll up the windows when armed.

3. The hatch wire can be accessed from the BCM behind the headlight switch. This is where the installer grabbed the hatch trigger from. You do not need to open the hatch to install a pin switch, just use the OEM wire for this connection.

it sure would be a drag if you have your keys in the vehicle and exit it for 30 seconds only to find you are locked out of your vehicle... if you program this feature on, make sure you have a spare key somewhere....

also, the toggle switch does not control alarm valet turn on, this is controlled by the momentary push/valet switch. The toggle switch only allows you to shut off the remote start function, some shops dont even put this switch in... but it should be there under the dash, so if you take your vehicle in for maintenance you can shut it off to prevent accidental RS.
