My alarm/Starter appears to have power. The shock sensor flashes with noise. The LED will only go on solid or off. If my battery gets drained or disconnected, the starter tries to turn over, I have to press the brake pedal to stop it. I cannot get the brain to communicae with the remote. I'm not sure what steps I should take in troubleshooting.

Get a new battery or check your alternator. Also, what kind of starter/alarm is this ????

The battery and alternator are fine. Please see my 3 other posts. My issues are with the alarm or transmitter. My truck is a 94 full size Blazer with ignition activated door locks. The alarm is a Python 1500 ESP. It needed a transmitter which I bought on Ebay. Now I'm trying to get the system working.
