looking for oil pressure wire is unusuall for a remote start install , i would think you were nuts except for the fact that last year a customer brought in a transponder remote start, the remotes looked just like little cell phones with the flip down cover, icon't remember for sure how i did it but i think i just ended up grounding that wire and it worked, good luck
