I'm trying to get my Python 1500 ESP working in my truck. I found a couple of cut wires. The violet(+)door trigger input zone 3 and the green(-)door trigger input zone 3 were cut. According to the full size Blazer wire chart which I got on a link from here. The chart says the wire is white with - polarity and is in the headlight switch. Why would it be in the haedlight swith. And the chart only mentions 1 wire. How do I know if my vehicle has a negative trigger circuit or a positive switched dome light circuit? The DEI installation manual says connect the green to a wire that shows ground when any door is opened, and connect the voilet to a wire that shows (+)12v when any door is opened and ground when closed. To add the the mix my truck has a on off switch on the dash for the door activated interior lights. I am completely confused. Please help.
what year blazier is it? to test for negitive triger the wire will have positive 12volts on it with dor shut and will show o 12+ when open, many cars will have door triger at the headlight switch because your dome light circut is at that location also.
