Trying to install a Bulldog Security model KE-100 keyless entry. I have found out this model car has a single wire for the door locks. I also found information about using resistors 620ohm for unlock and 2.7k ohm for lock. The lock part works but when you hit the unlock on the remote the doors dont unlock, they will lock. What should i do? I read about possibly using relays for both lock and unlock, is that my solution? I am trying to install this for my wife, she bought it and i really need to get this thing to work if you know what i mean. Also, the unit has an output for parking lights to flash, i need to use a relay for this to work, correct? Last question, is it possible to make the interior dome light come on when the unlock feature is used? Thanks for any help with my problems....

Yes you need relays for the lock unlock. You dont need a relay for the parklights you can hook that up directly. and as for the domelight if the keyless has a domelight output then yes it will turn when you unlock. here is the diagram for the locks

And dont hook the lock and unlock in the same place on the single wire that will cause a backfeed

Thanks for helping out....but i still cant get the thing to work. If i use relays hooked up like in the diagram from the bulldog web site, i get no output from either relay. Without the relays i do get the outputs, but still have the same problem of the unit locking with either the lock or unlock feature. Could i possibly have the relays hooked up wrong...i also tried hooking each relay seperate from each other and not together like the diagram...i feel like i am making a simple problem hard. Any advise? Thank you.
