I Installed a Prestige APS-600 on a Ford Focus, however, I cannot get the door trigger nor the trunk trigger to work.  I tapped the door trigger wire to the black / blue wire under driver kick as mentioned in the wiring diagram, and under another black / blue wire for trunk at the same location.  The door trigger wire shows ground when the door is opened, but only about 0.5 V when doors are closed instead of the usual 12V.  Therefore, the alarm thinks that the door is opened at all times.  as for the other black / blue wire, nothing seems to change when i open / close the door and trunk.  Any help is appreciated!  Thanks!

John

You have the wrong wire then. The door trigger wire is 12 volts when closed and ground when opened. Try to find the proper wire in the driver's kick panel under the carpet going to the rear of the car.
