I just purchased a DEI pager for the alarm system on my 2002 Honda Accord. I also purchsed the optional
antenna add on. You can connect this unit so it transmits via the cars radio antenna which is integrated into the back
window. Which will offer me the longest range: the optional antenna or the radio's antenna????

Hey Shadow, I would think the optional antenna would work better than the window antenna, but since you have both already, try 'em both and you tell us. posted_image

~wirewise~ Verify all wiring with your meter before making any connections!

Whatever you do don't use your regular car's antenna.  If someone knows your car and they know you have a pager remote then they could snip your antenna and you'd never get the page.  That happened to a friend of mine.

How can they snip the antenna if it's integerated into the back window? They would first have to break into
do that and that would set of the pager.
