Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to a power door lock addition to my 87 ford econoline cargo van. I want to do it using 2 wire actuators and 2 relays (using the diagram on this site). That part I've got down. But since it's going to be a central locking type of setup and i don't have a keyless entry/alarm for it yet, I'm going to need a switch.

Would a 3 wire rocker switch like what radio shack and pepboys sells be fine or would i need something a little more specific?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

A 3-wire rocker switch should work; since you're using relays, the switch itself only needs to handle about 300 mA of current at most. You can make it negative or positive trigger whichever is more convenient for you.
